London Anime Con III

Venue: The Rocket Complex, London Metropolitian University Tube: Two minutes from Holloway Road Tube Station (To the North of the Picadilly Line)
Cost: It costs £15 for both days, or just £8 per day to get in if you prepay, and you need to be 18 years or older. On the day entry is £10 per day. Open Times are 11am to 1am. Throughout both Saturday and Sunday there will be a room dedicated to workshops and panels which can be found in the back-room of the bar. Expect to see - Cosplay Workshops - KellyJane, TealPirate & ZombieMama shall be doing LAC3's Cosplay Workshops Para Para Workshops by Bishoujo Jump! - Bishoujo Jump! will be debuting at LAC3. Japanese Culture Talks by Akemi Solloway. Manga Workshops by some of the UK's top manga artists. And More - Professional cosplayer Tab Kimpton shall be putting on a range of cosplay-related panels and workshops for the attendees, talking on the subjects of Steampunk and on how to make a webcomic.

Harry Partridge - Harry is a writer, voice actor and animator whose web shorts have reached over 30 million people online. His work includes the satirical Saturday Morning Watchmen and his musical tribute to Elder Scrolls v: Skyrim. Akemi Solloway - Akemi Solloway is a lecturer and consultant of Japanese culture, the daughter of an old samurai family and learned in the traditional arts and culture of Japan. She will present some talks at London Anime Con (which ones shall be confirmed). Sekai no Melody - Japanese for "The World's Melody", Sekai no Melody is a long-running multilingual singing organisation. They sing songs not only in Japanese, but English, Korean, Spanishm French, Chinese and many more! Masa-Kun - Masa-kun is an electric violinist who performs various Japanese related songs. At London Anime Con, he will entertain you with film, anime and game music, such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Mario, Sailor Moon, Final Fantasy. More to come!

We're pleased to confirm that London party-favorites WOTA London shall be DJing and VJing for our Saturday Night Party of London Anime Con on 30 July. Piloru is confirmed as their first DJ with more to come. The London Anime Con Saturday night otaku party shall go from 8pm through to 1am. To change things around, we shall be mixing up the live-bands and the DJing music. WOTA London shall be doing three blocks of DJing with different music types, with live-bands playing in between. Bands playing will be Unshin, and Johnny Lazer with at least one more band to be confirmed. We also have several other awesome performances, such as the Djumans with their kick-ass dance moves planned, make sure to stay tuned for further announcements! We will also be hosting a Karaoke Lounge in the backroom, for everyone to sing to their heart's content, as well as a chillout zone and anime cinema on the big-screen upstairs. There will also be a Video Games bar for people to sit down and dance on activities such as DDR, guitar hero and so forth. As a reminder, if you choose to come after 6pm, you can get in for half-price at just £4 pre-pay or £5 on the door. This represents excellent value for an entire evening and night's worth of entertainment, with the Cosplay Auction at 6pm, the Openign Ceremony at 7pm, and much more besides.

Sunday evening will be for anime and gaming fans as we kick off the ever-popular Bass Invaders Rave to end the event on a high! Zonic is also confirmed to sing live and 8-bit inspired Super-Cute-Voices to perform. We will have at least one more band to confirm for the Sunday! We will also be hosting a Karaoke Lounge in the backroom, for everyone to sing to their heart's content, as well as a chillout zone and anime cinema on the big-screen upstairs. There will also be a Video Games bar for people to sit down and dance on activities such as DDR, guitar hero and so forth. As a reminder, if you choose to come after 6pm, you can get in for half-price at just £4 pre-pay or £5 on the door. This represents excellent value for an entire eveng and night's worth of entertainment, with the Cosplay Masqerade occuring at 6pm, the Openign Ceremony at 7pm, and Evening Entertainment at 8pm, and much more besides.

This was very popular last time around as all of downstairs was turned over to video gamers for the day. The ever popular Neo Empire ( http://www.neoempire.com/ ) shall be attending to put on a series of massive tournaments for the Ultimate Clash Xtreme! Stay tuned as we announce more details relating to this!
